Occupation: Just graduated high school, jobless at the moment
Appearance:
Near is small, and slight, at five foot nothing and eighty-eight pounds. His mannerisms tend to be rather eccentric, if not off-putting.
Nathan looks basically identical to Near, malnourishment resulting in his smallness. His manner is somewhat more adjusted to reality, although still rather odd.

1st Echo- When playing chess with Lazarus Lawliet at the age of eleven, he lost for the first time in quite awhile. This triggered some vague memories of a gothic letter L and a tall man with a wild mop of black hair, and a sense that this man was somehow important.
